Protein detail:

Protein name ORF4a protein
Uniprot protein ID K9N4V0
Protein length 109 amino acids
Protein description ORF4a protein is one of the non-structural protein of MERS-CoV. ORF4a protein plays a role in the inhibition of host innate response. Suppresses host PACT-induced activation of DDX58 and MDA5 and thereby circumvents the production of type I inteferons. Prevents also the activation of host NF-kappaB.
